Gavin Witzer is the Lead Coach at Henry Brunton Golf at Strawberry Farms. He has established himself as one of most respected and leading teachers and club fitters in Southern California. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Gavin has a deep passion for studying and learning all things golf. He has earned certifications with TrackMan; Certified Golf Coaches Association; Titleist Performance Institute (TPI); US Kids Golf Coaching; and, Titleist/Callaway/PXG Club Fitting.  He also was awarded “Best Young Teachers in America” by Golf Digest for 2018-2019.  

A Los Angeles native, Gavin was a stand-out high school golfer who went onto Loyola Marymount University where he was a 4 Year Letterman on the Men’s Golf Team at the NCAA DI level. Gavin played professional golf for two years before dedicating himself to becoming a PGA Member who specializes in teaching and coaching the game. Gavin worked at Mountain Gate CC in LA from 2008-2015 before being recruited by Henry Brunton when he started the academy at Strawberry Farms in 2015. 

Gavin is an outstanding golf coach who is very popular with his students. He is experienced and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of skills development, practice, and performance. Gavin is available to coach golfers of all abilities by appointment. He leads the Strive for Excellence Program for high school golfers. Golfers of all abilities are sure to enjoy Gavin’s coaching support and approach to learning and skills development.
